Fragrance: Typical associations of sloe and stewed plums, dried pear bread, plum, quetsch plum, cinnamon, cloves, restrained juniper, Tonka bean, eucalyptus, a great deal of almonds, reminiscent of cantuccini, a lot of chocolate, subtle fruit flesh, some ethereal oils. Taste: Almost punch character, jammy texture, a lot of plum notes, sloe, citrus, orange, gingerbread spice mixture, bitter almond note, cinnamon, marzipan, very fresh and acidulous, good sugar and acidity ratio, fairly full-bodied and long.
